Individual Sleep Consultation w/ 2 Months Unlimited Support – $450
I offer individual sleep consultations for families of babies, toddlers, preshoolers, and multiples. This includes a 1 – 1.5 hour Skype or Facetime videoconference. During this time we’ll go over your full history including everything that has happened to date, where you’re at, and what you hope to achieve.
Together, we’ll develop a concrete plan to achieve your goals for naps and night sleep. One that fits your parenting philosophy but also aligns with what you are trying to accomplish for your family. No matter your situation, we will create a plan for that works for you.
After our 1:1 conversation I’ll send a written recap of your sleep assessment and the plan we’ve agreed to. This service includes 60 days of follow-up support via email to ensure things are improving according to plan and troubleshoot any questions or issues that might arise.
Individual Sleep Consultation – $250
This includes a 1-1.5 hour Skype or Facetime videoconference (as above). At the end you will have a clear plan to work towards your sleep goals and answers to all your outstanding questions. I’ll send you a brief written recap of your sleep assessment and your sleep plan. This service does not include ongoing support.
Because I offer a highly personalized service with unlimited support I can only take on a few clients each week and spots tend to fill up quickly. Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a “one size fits all” approach?
My approach to sleep combines the latest research with experience working with untold numbers of families which is combined to meet your specific needs. No individual family is exactly like another, and no one approach will work for everyone. No matter your situation, we can and will create a plan for you and your family.
What about tear-free options?
I can’t guarantee you a tear-free solution. Nobody can. There are a variety of approaches to independent sleep that are more gradual, where the parent is more heavily involved. If that is most appealing to you, we can focus our plan on those strategies. But whenever you ask your child to do things in a new way, there is likely to be some complaint involved.
What if I need more than 30 days of support?
I used to provide unlimited support. What I found was that this gave people permission to not do anything. Because they knew I would be there to help out or answer questions 6 months later, there was no real commitment to making immediate change. Now there is a limit. This creates a compelling reason to move on the plan immediately. So we aren’t stuck in sleep purgatory for months and months.
What if we have more than 1 kid with sleep issues?
Then we can discuss what is going on with both kids during our call. I often work with families of multiples, where there are older siblings, etc.
What ages do you work with?
Mostly adults. Oh you meant babies! I’ve coached families of newborns all the way up to kindergarten. I will say the first 6 weeks are often rough (crying peaks and sleep is at it’s worst at 6 weeks), and much of that is related to issues of being a newborn (immature circadian rhythm, colic, etc.). But if your child is 3 months old and things are still wonky chances are we can make things better. I also coach families of older children around issues like: transitioning to the big kid bed, limit testing at bedtime, nap dropping, won’t stay in bed, etc.
What countries do you service?
I’ve worked with families on every continent except Antarctica (if you’re in Antarctica – PLEASE CALL ME!). Let me know where you are and we’ll find a day/time that works for everybody.
What about returning families!
I adore having the opportunity to work with families again! So much so that I have special pricing just for them. If we’ve worked together in the past you can hire me at the special rate of $300 for a 1:1 + 2 months of support, or $200 for a standalone 1:1. Please mention that you are a return family on the form.
How do we pay you?
I invoice via PayPal which you can pay securely with credit cards, PayPal funds, or Venmo.
